Lincolnshire property developer and contractor Stirlin Developments appointed Tradeglaze as part of a 4-way Team Lincolnshire collaboration project to supply our award-winning aluminium curtain walling and aluminium windows and aluminium doors for the beautiful new Duncan & Toplis and Wilkin Chapman LLP offices ‘Oxley House’ in Louth. Oxley House is located on the Fairfield Industrial Estate on Lincoln Way and offers an impressive 10,000 sq. ft. of premium office space to the town. The two-storey building comprises of an open-plan office space, meeting rooms, kitchen facilities and a reception area.
The Product:
Tradeglaze designed, manufactured and installed aluminium double glazing throughout using the innovative and versatile Senior Architectural Systems aluminium window and aluminium door profiles.
We specified Seniors Architectural Systems SF52 curtain walling profile due to its flexibility and ease of fabrication alongside Seniors SW600 E aluminium casement windows, a robust, three-chamber, 75mm polyamide thermally broken aluminium window system. The system has exceptional weather resistance quality, achieving 600Pa air permeability, 600Pa water tightness and 2400Pa wind resistance. This means excellent thermal and acoustic performance and stunning aesthetics.
Our experienced teams specified anti-sun glass, a hi-tech product developed by the glass industry to allow sunlight to pass through a window or façade while radiating and reflecting away a large degree of the sun’s heat. The indoor space stays bright and much cooler than would be the case if normal glass were used. The design is then completed with aluminium doors manufactured from matching profiles, highly secure and durable and ideal for a high-performance commercial door.
The Manufacturing and Installation Process
Our market-leading aluminium windows and doors have the perfect qualities for busy office spaces like this one where the products will be subjected to more wear and tear than your traditional residential properties. Aluminium is considerably more resistant to the outside elements compared to other frames and the typical life expectancy of products made from our aluminium profiles is 40+ years.
