Window Fitting Team

We are looking for Window Fitter to join our Installations Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· The ability to install windows, doors, conservatories, and other bespoke products to our high standards and the current building regulations.

· To work according to the current Health and Safety standards.

· Maintain a clean and organised work area.

· Work efficiently as an individual or as part of a team.

· Provide a high level of customer service.

· Accurate and timely completion of paperwork.

Key Skills:

· 2+ years of experience of fitting uPVC.

· Experience of fitting aluminium would be desirable.

· A driving licence is essential.

· CSCS or a relevant skills card would be desirable or a willingness to work towards is essential.

· Attention to detail is required for this role.

Other Information:

· Based on the current status of our order book we expect this position to be full time, offering a mix of new build and domestic work.

· You will be provided with a van and fuel card.

· A willingness to travel an hour and half from Lincoln and start at our Lincoln depot at 7.00 am.

· We offer 5 weeks annual leave in addition to bank holidays.

We are looking for Sales Executive to join our growing Sales department. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

  • Generate leads and actively follow up with prospective customers.
  • Conduct thorough consultations to understand customers’ needs and provide bespoke solutions using our extensive portfolio of market-leading glazing products.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve and exceed weekly targets.

 

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record in sales, with minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience in the fenestration industry welcomed but not essential; a comprehensive product training programme will be provided.

Aluminium and uPVC Processor

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Aluminium and uPVC Processor to join our technical team. This is a varied and hands-on role responsible for processing aluminium and uPVC orders, preparing quotations, providing technical support and assisting with product design and purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing

  • Process aluminium and uPVC window and door orders into manufacturing-ready production files.
  • Produce accurate cutting lists, CNC data and manufacturing documentation.
  • Use LogiKal, Windows Designer and other industry software to generate production information.
  • Ensure all orders comply with customer specifications, building regulations and company quality standards.
  • Optimise material usage and manufacturing efficiency.

 

Estimating

  • Prepare quotations for aluminium windows, doors and associated glazing products.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
  • Assist with pricing enquiries and technical quotations.
  • Support project handovers from quotation stage through to manufacture.

 

Purchasing Support

  • Assist with material ordering and procurement activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding technical specifications, pricing and lead times.
  • Support stock management and material planning requirements.

 

Technical Support & Design

  • Provide technical support to Sales, Surveying, Purchasing and Production teams.
  • Interpret technical drawings, surveys and customer specifications.
  • Use CAD software to produce manufacturing drawings and bespoke design details.
  • Assist with technical problem-solving and product development.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

 

About You

Essential

  • Previous experience processing aluminium and/or uPVC window and door orders.
  • Experience using LogiKal for aluminium processing.
  • Experience using Windows Designer or equivalent software for uPVC processing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

 

Desirable

  • Experience preparing quotations within the fenestration industry.
  • CAD experience for producing manufacturing and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of Senior Architectural Systems, AluK or similar systems.
  • Experience generating CNC manufacturing data.
  • Understanding of current building regulations and industry standards.

Quality Controller / Yard Operative

Tradeglaze are looking to recruit a reliable and proactive Quality Controller / Yard Operative to join our growing team. This is a varied hands-on role combining quality control duties with yard responsibilities, stock ordering and occasional delivery driving cover.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products leaving the factory meet company standards while also supporting the smooth running of the yard and stock management operations.

Main Responsibilities

Quality Control Duties (Primary Role)

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards
  • Identify defects, damages or manufacturing issues before dispatch
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Complete quality check records and reports where required
  • Ensure products are packaged and prepared correctly for dispatch

 

Yard & Stock Responsibilities (Approx. 30% of Role)

  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Organise and maintain the yard in a safe and tidy condition
  • Monitor stock levels of materials and consumables
  • Place stock orders with suppliers when required
  • Assist with stock takes and inventory control

 

Delivery Driver Cover

  • Carry out deliveries when required during driver holidays or absence
  • Load vehicles safely and ensure products are secured correctly
  • Provide a professional and helpful service to customers on site

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous quality control or manufacturing experience
  • Be organised with good attention to detail
  • Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be flexible and willing to support different areas of the business
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Forklift licence preferred but not essential
