Ocean Walker Academy

We have recently completed this stunning renovation project at the Ocean Walker purpose-built open water swimming facility, situated in the idyllic Lincolnshire Wolds.

Founders, Adam Walker and Gemma Clarke have created a 7-acre open water swimming lake from scratch in order to run swim camps and teach their unique injury prevention front crawl swim stroke. From complete beginners to more experienced swimmers the aim is to facilitate fitness and mental well-being.

To best capture views of the lake, Adam and Gemma opted for aluminium patio sliders which have been manufactured in our Lincoln factory from the popular AluK Optio BSC94 Trirail Inline Sliding door profile. The sliders include slim sightlines and large expanses of glass that offer panoramic views, both inside and out. Allowing clients to relax and take care of their mental well-being.

Our aluminium sliding doors are highly secure and certified PAS 24. Not only this but they are also highly weather resistant, durable with anti bi-metal polyamide strips which allow for varying expansion rates, meaning our doors are suitable for any type of weather condition.

In addition to this, Adam and Gemma also chose matching agate grey aluminium windows and a fire door. This adds a sense of continuity throughout the property, giving it an elegant finish.
