Meet our September Employee of the Month: Ricky Hinch

Introducing our October Employee of the Month, Ricky Hinch! Ricky is part of our manufacturing team but you will mostly see him behind the wheel of one of our vans, delivering finished products to our customers. Working with customers part of his job that he really enjoys as he loves the social interaction that comes with the job.

Ricky is a great character, and no matter what is happening in his day, he will always have a smile on his face! He is full of energy and our customers simply love him.

We have caught up with Ricky and asked what he enjoys most about working for Tradeglaze? “People, for sure. I have been worked for Tradeglaze for 12 years now, we have a superb team here, everyone is really friendly helpful. We enjoy a lot of banter, the job can be challenging, lots of heavy lifting, careful driving and then heavy lifting again. You don’t stop all day long and so you have to have fun and share jokes with your work mates! And I really enjoy working with our customers, they are brilliant.”

Ricky’s line manager, our productions manager Kenny King says: “Ricky is a star employee. We do not miss deliveries and do not have complaints from any of our customers. He is a great team player, if he can help, he will do. He works with customers every day so he is often the first one to know about any issues. Rick takes it on the chin, smiles, and does whatever he needs to make sure our customers are left happy, every single time.”

In his spare time Ricky loves to go fishing or walking!
