Tradeglaze Achieves Secured by Design Accreditation
We have strengthened our commitment to building safer homes and communities by achieving Secured by Design accreditation for a range of uPVC windows and doors manufactured here in our Lincoln factory.
The achievement is welcome news for local housebuilders, developers and construction companies looking to meet advanced security standards on newbuild housing developments and refurbishment projects.
Secured by Design (SBD) is the official Police security initiative, which works alongside the construction industry to reduce crime in our local communities through better building design and physical security. Its standards are widely recognised across the housing sector and can help Lincolnshire developers demonstrate that their projects meet recommended security specifications.
Our newly accredited product range includes the Liniar 70mm uPVC casement windows, Resurgence flush casement windows, tilt and turn windows, uPVC entrance doors and French doors. The certification covers a broad selection of window configurations, providing flexibility for different architectural styles and project requirements.
Customers can now confidently incorporate certified windows and doors into residential developments, refurbishment programmes and other projects where advanced security is a recommendation or requirement.

The process involved independent product testing and certification, alongside production audits and work by our team to meet the stringent manufacturing standards. We have also undertaken training on system upgrades, with support from leading uPVC profile supplier Liniar.
