CONTACT US

2023 has been a significant year for us at Tradeglaze, filled with innovation, recognition, and growth. As we prepare to bid farewell to this year and welcome 2024, I would like to reflect on the array of many exciting events that have shaped our year as a growing business.

From earning recognition as one of Britain’s most inspiring small businesses to expanding our product lines with aluminium and uPVC flush casement windows, we’ve been on quite the journey.

Tradeglaze Named One Of The UK’s Most Inspiring SME Businesses

Tradeglaze’s recognition as one of BusinessLive’s most inspiring small businesses marked an exceptional start to our year, setting the tone for the the year ahead as we worked towards innovating and investing back into our company.

Case Studies: Duncan & Toplis and Wilkin Chapman LLP Offices

Our teams work on many exceptional projects every day and I wish I could highlight them all as there are so many special relationships behind each window and door we manufacture and install.

Earlier in the year, Tradeglaze took part in a 4-way Team Lincolnshire collaboration with Stirlin Developments. We supplied our award-winning aluminium curtain walling, windows and doors for their stunning new Duncan & Toplis and Wilkin Chapman LLP office space ‘Oxley House’ in Louth, Lincolnshire.

Tradeglaze designed, manufactured and installed aluminium double glazing throughout using the high-performance aluminium window and doors by Senior Architectural Systems.

Tradeglaze have been a Team Lincolnshire ambassador very much since the beginning of the scheme in 2017. It meant a great deal to us to be part of a project that brought a major investment for the local community and created new jobs.

2023 Glass And Glazing Products Installer Awards

In March 2023, Tradeglaze proudly stood among industry peers at the prestigious Glass and Glazing Products Installer Awards in Manchester. This marked a significant milestone in our journey, highlighted by exceptional recognition.

We were thrilled to be shortlisted for a total of six awards, a true testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation. Winning two prestigious awards for Best Commercial Installation and Outstanding Achievement for our production manager Kenny King, along with receiving a High Commendation in the Best Conservatory or Orangery (up to £35,000) categories, was a pinnacle moment in the history of our company.

These awards reflect the hard work, expertise, and passion of our team day in and day out, motivating us to continually push boundaries and set new standards within the industry.

Investing In The Future Of The Company

Throughout 2023, we made significant investments in our workforce and our factories which has enhanced our capabilities and set the stage for even more progress.

We made a historic investment which opened doors to Passivhaus-standard product fabrication by introducing the state-of-the-art machinery Stuga Autoflow-2 MK4 CNC sawing and machining centre in our uPVC factory as well as the Emmegi Phantomatic X4’ CNC machining centre in our Aluminium factory.

Our most recent machinery upgrade was the Digi-BS CNC Glazing Bead Saw by Avantek Machinery which allows us to streamline our production process making it faster, safer and overall, more efficient for our staff and customers.

We’ve not only invested in cutting-edge machinery but also in growing and recognising our talented team members. Jonathan Brewer’s promotion to Head of Sales highlights our dedication to nurturing and growing our internal talent.

In May we welcomed Daniel Smith to the role of Purchasing and Stock Control Manager, adding valuable talent and experience from the glass and glazing industry and further strengthening our relationships with our suppliers.

New Product Launches

Our factory investments have enabled us to start producing our own Aluminium and uPVC Flush Casements, offering increased flexibility in lead times, design options, and competitive pricing.

Additionally, we have added the Korniche bi-folding door system to our portfolio of products and the highly anticipated Liniar Zero-90 is set to launch early in 2024 helping you to achieve your sustainability targets in line with the government’s net zero strategy.

Tradeglaze In The Community

2023 was a year where our Tradeglaze team took the time to support various local charitable causes, showcasing our passion to make a positive difference in our community.

This included events such as the Lincoln 10k, 15,000ft Skydive, dog walks for welfare, and bike riding from castle to coast to castle. Collectively our staff raised over £2000 to support these charities.

Furthering our involvement with our local community, Tradeglaze proudly became sponsors of both Lindum Hockey Club and Red Lions Football Club. We take great pride in standing beside these clubs and look forward to witnessing their continued success on and off the field.

Looking into 2024

Amid some challenging months for our industry, I’m pleased to share that our Tradeglaze group of companies stands in excellent stead. We’ve been hard at work, making significant investments to continue growing and modernising our group of companies in order to offer the latest cutting edge glazing products on the market to our trade, commercial and domestic customers.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers who have entrusted us with their projects this year, to our talented hard-working teams who have gone above and beyond to deliver for our customers, and to our suppliers and all other contacts who continue supporting our growing group of companies. I am very much looking forward to 2024 and the many opportunities it will bring.

Merry Christmas and Happy 2024!
